The Top Three Television Characters - Comedy -
In order to be chosen for the top three, the character must have been on television for at least two seasons of the show, and never killed off, or replaced. They must have their own plot line, and not only a stand in or novelty character. The character must be able to entertain a wide range of viewers and be remembered for years to come.
1. Joey Tribiani - Friends
2. Cosmo Kramer - Seinfeld
3. Peter Griffin - Family Guy
1. Friends was a very popular television show in the 90's that aired for 10 seasons. Joey Tribiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, was one of the comedy backbones of the show. LeBlanc plays a struggling actor who becomes famous for his role on Days of Our Lives, Joey is also a womanizer with many girlfriends throughout the series, and a every apparent love of food. One of my favourite episodes would have to be 'Joey on Pyramid'.
